Welcome Back!
Recently the creators of the teenage condition podcast have undergone major changes and are no lone the teenage condition podcast, but PC, which stands for politically correct or politically current. while our message is still the same we have chosen to discuss issues more pertinent to what it means to be a teenager currently. our main goal is to educate and draw awareness to issues within our community and the global community. This podcast will still serve the purpose of educating teens and young adults through modes of communication such as audio by other young leaders in the community.
The creators of this podcast are neither professionals in this area or experts in any given topic. We are a group average teenagers who seemingly saw problems within our society that we wanted to address. We hope to represent all genders and forms of life through and will work our way up to inviting people on the show as well as interviewing people from outside our immediate school community. Every podcast will be presented in a seminar style, allowing a couple of minutes to introduce a topic and then opening up the topic for several minutes of discussions. This not only is most successful for us but as allows everyone to be heard and to share their perspective. Topics will range from politics to simple problems within high school life.
Since this podcast is solely comprised of volunteers, we want to make sure that this podcast is as factual as possible while remaining respectful to all people and listeners. The following episode discusses the debate between cultural appropriation and cultural appreciation. Stay tuned for the following week's episode regarding the stigma surrounding sexual harassment and assault.
